Until recently, there
was some doubt that this event would go ahead since
Paul Hills, who has organised the last few years,
has retired.
We are lucky that
Tony Durey and Anoushka Johnson, from Central Park
Athletics Club, have stepped in to lead the event,
but they need plenty of help.
We already have a few
volunteers willing to help with course set up on
Friday 3rd January, be course marshals on Saturday
4th or assist as a car park marshal. However, we
need quite a few more.
I have agreed to
gather as many volunteers as possible and to enable
this have created the Google Form to gather
information, which should be easy for any potential
helpers to complete. I am circulating this form to
as many clubs and contacts as possible and hope that
you might be able to help.
The more people we
can get the less work it will be for those who have
already stepped up.
