Track & Field Ranking Lists for 2008 Last amended at 15/10/08

30th September 08 Dear Reader, This rankings list is the third draft based on results picked up till the end of September 08. The compilation of rankings lists, as mentioned earlier is now more complicated with the proliferation of HCA’s and 2nd claim members in NJL leagues. It is quite hard to keep tabs on athletes’ first claim clubs and indeed their County status. I have included all athletes of all Kent based clubs with notes to identify County (if not Kent) and age group if competing at throws or hurdles of older age group. I note that many clubs are not posting results on their websites and I urge that clubs try and get their Mens Southern League results on their websites as there is no other access to these results. And hopefully in a format that can be easily downloaded. Many sites are ‘all singing, all dancing’ and it is sometimes difficult to access the information without the latest programmes. I shall be scouring the ‘Power of Ten’ and ‘Athleticsdata’ sites to pick up any further amendments but these are not always that accurate. I have updated the lists as best I can and will finalise the rankings by the end of October for 2008. Finally I apologise to all of you who sent me amendments for 2007 at the end of the season. Unfortunately other commitments from October to Christmas meant that I was unable to update the late amendments.
